Executive Summary
Artistic Grounds will provide a friendly, comfortable, social and artistic atmosphere where the customer can receive excellent gourmet food, service and entertainment at a reasonable price. The interior design of the building will focus on projecting an eclectic artsy atmosphere. Artistic Grounds will be divided into different areas. Some will have tables and chairs, another will have large couches and comfy chairs, end tables, and coffee tables. The walls will be used as an art gallery and displayed in cases throughout the shop for customers to shop the local art that is for sale. Artists will be in house on occasion for special events.
Artistic Grounds will be using a 3,525-square foot area of a building in the River

Mission Statement Artistic Grounds Café provides a unique and compelling cafe experience for the discriminating and artistic coffee drinker. Artistic Grounds Café will provide high quality, fair trade fresh gourmet coffee, teas, cocoa, and chef prepared pastries that will be delivered with a high level of expert, fast and friendly service.
Vision Statement Within five years, Artistic Grounds Café will have established itself as a premier provider of gourmet coffee and pastries for the artistically inclined coffee

The income level for this area is around $65,000 per year. They will live within three miles of Artistic Grounds. They will be college students, local artists, and art enthusiasts. The education level will range from some college to post-graduate work. A majority of the customers will be persons who enjoy a relaxing atmosphere, conversation, and art.

The profile for an Artistic Grounds Café customer consists of the following geographic and, demographic segments. Geographic-our immediate geographic target is the area of within 3 miles of the cafe. Demographics- male and female ages 18 to 55; this is the age group that makes up the available professionals, college students, and local artists.
