They need to socialize by taking them to bingo hall, cinemas, seaside trips, and walk in the park. It is for their social interaction with the wider society.
Emotional Needs. - Individuals who have experience emotional, depression and exclusion should be given counselling and given help which is appropriate to their special needs. Those who are excluded in the society should be looked after by offering any available services for them. Praise accomplishments of service users. We all want to feel important.
Spiritual Needs – Their religious needs must be met. The client spiritual history mist be known. You must not convent any client to a different religion by doing that you are infringing on the client’s Human Right Act, (1998). One of the key contributions of spirituality in the lives of these individuals – people with depression- may be the power to offers to restore meaning, purpose and hope to their lives. (Mental Health Foundation). Involve Chaplains or other religious leaders as members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team. (Aldworth et al).
Intellectual Needs - Their educational needs must be met. Their special needs does not stop them from having their educational needs
