Explain Why I Was Not Active
I was not active this week. One reason I was not active was because at the time I felt I did not need to be. Another reason I was not active was because I have graves disease, and even when I did exercise after getting treated for having graves, nothing I did help me lose weight, I would try my best to lose weight, but every time I went back to the doctor I have gained more pounds. I have talked to my doctor about the problem I am having and they said it is normal, and that with graves disease some people lose a lot of weight and some people gain a lot of weight. They told me I still need to be lightly active for at least 60 minutes a day and more if I can handle it. I just feel like why exercise if it have not helped me look my best in the pass? I do think I need to at least do the 60 mins a day like the doctor told me, because it is more than just my weight involved when not being active, so I really need to motivate myself to do better, because I know deep down being active daily will help in so many other ways. …show more content…
One thing that changed was how much I sleep. When I was active daily I could stay up with no naps, I would sleep 7 to 8 hours a night, and still get up early in the morning to start my day. This week I noticed go to bed early every day and wake up later in the morning and some days at noon.     My current exercise habits have not been consistent. I have been working more than doing physical exercise lately, but I do moderately exercise daily. I usually start off lifting weights in the morning when the testosterone level is at its peak. After at least 45min, I run at least 3miles around the neighborhood and then I’m typically finished for the day unless I decide to take a swim in the evening.
