What would you do if you had no food, no water, no communication, and no resources? Would you just sit there waiting until it was your time to die? I sure wouldn't, I would look for anything to help me survive. We all have the instinct of survival our ancestors probably had to survive on whatever they had. They didn’t have what we have today, our modern technology has made us dependent on it, so we don’t have to worry about survival. Survival is something natural, just like animals humans have to have food, water, and shelter to survive we have to do whatever it takes to survive no matter the sacrifice.
Some tv shows today show people surviving on a game show for money in the wild. The people that normally win always have a plan on how to make shelter, and have other basic necessities ready in case of emergencies. If you were stranded somewhere random with resources, but no instructions on how to build, would you sit there and worry about being alone, or would you have the instinct to build something and survive? There was a case of a man who was a sailor and got stranded on a deserted island and built shelter solely out of coconut tree leaves. They probably had campfire and that was there only way of heating their food up. We rely too much on technology because it soothes us of our fear of dying. Third world countries TODAY have to worry about waking up just to get fresh clean water. They don’t have advanced technology like us, they still survive with what they have. They aren’t selfish, it’s surprisingly the other way
