Have you ever heard of a system called the Xbox? This series has been loved for years ever since it’s release. The Xbox series has many designs,models,and looks. Microsoft has been producing Xbox’s for sixteen years ever since 2001. The Xbox has a long history coming from 2001 from the creators idea from actually putting it into action.
Starting from the year 2001 the Xbox has been one of the well know gaming consoles for young children to enjoy themselves on a television screen. The Xbox was the company Microsoft’s first ticket into gaming consoles. Marshall also states that two years later Microsoft was ready to go public with its first console on March 10, 2000. The developer of the Xbox connected with Bungie Studios, the creator of a third person shooter called Halo Combat Evolved (2013). The second console from Microsoft was unveiled on May 12, 2005. To simplify it Microsoft developed and sold the Xbox to begin with but the actual people who came up with the creation of the Xbox. Kevin Bachus, Seamus Blackley, Otto Berkes, and Ted Hase formed the software giant’s first console. Kevin Bachus was the co-creator of the original Microsoft Xbox. Bachus joined Dave & Buster’s as its senior vice president of entertainment and games strategy in 2012 (22 Oct. 2012). According to Hall, Seamus Blackley, another one of the designers of the original Xbox, wanted the Xbox’s remote to be big and bulky almost like a small steering wheel. As for Blackley to be a large man with large hands he lead the charge to recreate The controller known as “The Duke” in all its glory The Duke has been remade to be fit for the Xbox One (14 June 2016). Otto Berkes Bloomberg states that Berkes brings some serious digital credit to the table, as one of the founders of Microsoft's Xbox video game empire. Berkes was also a progenitor of the HBO GO streaming video service. Otto Berkes later left Microsoft after 18 years working at the company. Berkes sooner teamed up with Microsoft tech evangelist Ted Hase to create Windows game machines. They were later joined by Seamus Blackley and Kevin Bachus.
