out crunchy once it's done cooking.
Place a lid on the rice, and leave it to cook for about 40 minutes.
Place another skillet on the stove to heat, and add in 2 tablespoons of sesame oil into the pan. Add half a teaspoon of cinnamon into the pan, and mix it in with the oil. When the oil gets hot, the cinnamon's scent will be released.
When you can smell the cinnamon, add the diced onions into the pan. Cook them until they are golden brown, and add the garlic in to cook for about a minute. Dice
1 tablespoon of ginger root and 1 teaspoon of turmeric root, and add them into the pan to cook with the garlic. The ginger and turmeric should cook for about three minutes in order to release all of their flavors into the food.
Once the aromatics have cooked, add ¼ cup of water into the pan. Bring the water to a boil, and let it thicken the roots. Cut the two green chilies in half, and add them into the pan. Add the turkey, a teaspoon of spicy chili powder, and ½ tea- spoon of garam masala. Add another half cup of water, and place a lid on the curry as it cooks.
You will want to let the curry cook for about 10 more minutes, as that will ensure that the turkey is properly cooked. Once the mixture has thickened into a
sauce, add a bit of salt and pepper for flavor. Taste the sauce, and add water to thicken it if necessary. Serve over the brown rice, and enjoy!
