Today I am going to tell you how to make sushi on your own. I’ll start with the different types of sushi you can make, then the sushi rice, and some of the ingredients you can use. Finally, I will cover actually making the roll and the presentation of the sushi.
Body
1. The Types
a. Hand Rolls
b. Nigiri
c. Sashimi
d. Norimaki
2. The Rice
a. Choose “Sushi Rice”
b. 1 cup=3 rolls. Measure and prepare rice.
c. Cook on high while stirring until boil. Medium heat with pot covered 6-8 minutes.
d. Using wooden spoon, put rice into wooden or plastic bowl.
e. 3 cups of rice, use 1/2 cup of rice vinegar, 2 tbsp of sugar, and 2 tsp of salt.
3. Making the Roll
a. Place seaweed rough side up.
b. Put one spoonful of rice at at time until half the sheet if filled.
c. Place ingredients however you wish.
d. Roll until end, put a little saltwater along edge to seal. Use bamboo sheet to roll for 30 seconds.
e. Cut into pieces, arrange on plate, serve
f. Be the envy of all your friends
So today, I’ve given you a very easy way to make sushi. First, choose what type you want to make, then prepare the sushi rice, followed by making the roll and serving it.
