Film Review: The Last Of Th Mohicans

I really enjoyed reading your discussion post about how the Appalachian Region was betrayed in the movie The Last of th Mohicans. You said, "the scene that stuck out to me the most was the scene where Alice committed suicide to free herself from Magua." This scene is one of my favorites as well, when talking about seneray. Throughout the movie, the mountains display different meanings. Just like you said, the mountains can be depict as somewhat of a safe haven.
Up until this assignment, I have never put much thought into the scenery of a particular scene of a film. Thus, this understanding now gives a scene that much more meaning.
