English 1113 A Soccer Final

My name is Shaktim Nepal, a nineteen years old young, energetic boy from Nepal. From my early childhood, I always dreamt of becoming a world class Soccer player but I never tried for it because soccer players neither have good future, nor they make money to earn their life in Nepal. Provided this bitter truth, my passion was limited only to watching the mid-night league games of England and Spain live and exclusive in television. Also, I used to spend 1-2 hours every day playing soccer with my friends. The position I fancied was the defensive one and the role I had to play during games was to nullify the probable goal scoring opportunity created by opposition.
Nowadays, I often ask a question to myself that why I chose only soccer when there were other games like cricket, table tennis, volley ball, basketball, etc. which require much more lesser space and stamina. And the answer is quite simple. For me there are only two types of sports, one is soccer and other the rest of all. Soccer is the most popular game in Nepal. I grew up in a locality where people spent enough time playing soccer. So, from my early days I got the chance to play with soccer, later on it was quite easy for me to learn how to play this particular game. It was quite normal for me to opt for soccer because I grew up watching this game.
Later on, during my days in school and high school I got the chance to expand my soccer skills. I was a regular member whenever a soccer team was selected for any type of competition. Soccer, had a wide range of influence on my personal, social and educational life. It is soccer which taught me what leadership is and why team work is so important. I was so prolific and professional with my defensive skills that my name became popular as the Great Wall of Orchid (my college) and hence no one had any kind of doubts choosing me as the captain of
