The 100th piece of the “Wellesley 100” was, indeed, the most important part of Wellesley: the truly unique and diverse student body that can be found nowhere else. The picture of the wildly shouting students is so vividly captured that they pass their heating passion on to me across the page. I could picture myself among the very different yet united community, swept by the fervor, cheering and shouting “Go Blue!” The intimacy with the talented and dedicated women from around the world makes up one of the most special experiences available at Wellesley college, provided through the loud singing of class songs, dressing up in house colors, and finding new family and home at Wellesley. The intimacy with the talented and dedicated women from around…

The Corinthian Colleges, Inc. (CCI) which directed the Everest, Wyotech and Heald colleges and were all considered Private Postsecondary schools deceived their students by making them believe hollow promises that had no intentions of being true. They fabricated false job placement rates for students. The Corinthian Colleges declared bankruptcy after the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) affirmed that students were being cheated and that the job prospects were only an advertisement to attract more enrollees and to have them apply and take out private loans. Therefore, "the Everest College, Wyotech and Heald College campuses, abruptly closed its California sites, leaving more than 10,000 students out in the cold" (Bernick, 2015). Also, according to the Federal Register, which is the Daily Journal of the United States Government, the CFPB function is to…

“Teely, because I’m so interested in seeing you apply with your Eagle Vision Application…” Central University. “An exclusive invitation from UNCP..” UNC Pembroke. “Mai-Teelee, you’ll want to read this.” Western Carolina. All these colleges and universities showed interest in me by reaching out through emails and letters in the mail but, it wasn’t them whom I was interested in. It was you, UNC Chapel Hill. The first time I heard about you was back in my sophomore year, in AP Environmental Science by a group of classmates who had visited the campus. At that time, I didn’t care that much for colleges. I was still worried about joining clubs and trying to make more friends and just, have fun. Like any other teenager. However, I became intrigued. Just what was it that made this school so well known and liked? Once I decided that I would aim for the medical field, my friends suggested, of course, Chapel Hill. You. They said “It’s a great medical school and you’ll get in easily because you’re Asian.” And being naive, I believed them. I didn’t quite realize just how high your expectations were. But it wouldn’t be too difficult I assumed…
