Fishleg Monologue
Hello my name is Hiccup. I’m the son’s chief Stock Vast. Have you ever been in pressure well I have. Like the time when I had to get a dragon for our test. I was nervous as reck. But my best friend Fishleg helped me out……. kind of. It was in the middle of winter and me and Fishleg were in the dragon nursery picking out our dragon. We were so scared. We almost died because of Fishleg he sneezed so loud it woke up all the dragons. After the sneeze, we ran as fast as we could. But luckily, I got a dragon but not Fishleg. So I felt sad for him so I gave him my dragon. Then In just grab another dragon and started to run. After we got out of there we showed our teacher Mr.Gobber. He said you passed. We felt so happy. It was spring and I was so happy to see my dragon. I pulled it out of my bed and there was a ton of smoke. Fishleg came in time to see my dragon. When the smoke passed we saw my dragon. Fishleg said”…………why is it so small?” I looked closer there was just a small little dragon. The only unique thing about it was small and has no teeth. When it woke up he roared at me and said “Wha-a-a-t am -I- doing in he-r-re”. It was so fascinating I could here my dragon speak english and that means I am a dragon whisper. Then I said “Hello” and he said “Did You Kid-n-nap me?” Well yes and I am your master. Then I named him Toothless . So I told Toothless to follow me. So he followed me. We went to the beach to catch some fish. I said would you catch some fish. But Toothless said “That I’m tired.” Then he laid down. I was prepared for this I maid a list of what I could do. First I told him Dragons are lazy. But, Toothless did nothing. Then I tried to fill him up but then he could’t fly. So, I tried jokes and riddles it worked. He got interested. Then he said we dragons like funny jokes. So, I told him I will tell a joke for every fish you bring.
Fishleg said “Wow my dragon would’ t get off of me.” Well I’m sorry, I cant help you because Mr. Gobber said you have to do this by yourself. The days went on and it became Thor’s day. Thor’s day was to see if you are worthy of being a viking. It was 2:00 and me and Fishleg got ready. We showed the crowed the basic moves of our dragon “go” and “stop”. It was the final part to see who is worthy of being a viking. We had to catch 15 fishes in 6 minutes. Fishleg and I were on our final fish untill Toothless bumped into a dragon and that started a dragon fight. It went on for 3 minutes. Until Mr. Goober told them to stop. The dragons stopped and flew away. Stock and the elders talked to see if we had passed the test or failed the test and be exiled. They said you both dis-pointed the Hairy Hooligan tribe. It started to rain hard. So, they said you could stay but you have to leave in the morning.
It was raining hard. Stock was thinking why would I banish my own son because of the rule I maid up. While he was thinking, a viking said “there is a huge dragon on the beach.” Stock said let me see. So he went out to see. It was true. He called out a meeting saying there is a big dragon on the beach and we need to kill it. Stock asked Old Wrinkly what to do? Old Wrinkly suggestion was to look in the book called “How To Train Your Dragon.” So they looked in the book and all it said was to yell at the dragon. So, they tried yelling at it. But it just made it worst. So, the tribe had to come up with another plan. While they were thinking, I said maybe I could speak to the dragon. They all agreed for me to talk to the dragon. I went and asked the dragon do you come in peace or war. The dragon said peace but when I get hungry I will eat you all. So, I told the tribe what the dragon had said. The tribe decided to make a game plan to get rid of the dragon and eventually they came up with one. I had to tell the dragon to meet us at a location. So, the dragon went there. We all launched our attack to defeated the huge dragon. Fishleg and I got back in the tribe for helping. We lived happily ever after.
