Aerobic Training – Continuous Training
Throughout this Unit, our objective was to participate in five training methods. There were a lot of components relating to the Body System being developed throughout the Training and Fitness we were provided. Continuous training was one of the Training and Fitness that we had to get involved in. The Training itself consists of developing Aerobic training which is the using oxygen to maintain endurance. Continuous training is considered a training that lasts for a long period; the exercises last for more than 20 minutes and with no resting intervals. As Continuous training is considered a training that lasts for a long period of time, this promotes more of increasing the intensity within the activities. Continuous training needs to be performed at a high intensity because it further develops the Cardio Vascular and the Respiratory system; with all the exercises done such as running the body has to respond to its best to recover and to restore oxygen to the body.
Continuous training normally is performed by firstly measuring the heart rate; this enables the participant to see how good their fitness is. In General, to measure your fitness through your heart rate, it normally depends on your Maximum Heart Rate (Max HR) – this shows
