After I finished ¨ Flowers for Algernon ¨, I thought that scientists, teachers and all people who had witnessed the progress of Charlie had an interesting apprenticeship about mentally handicapped adults. For that reason I thought that one of those persons could share his/her experience with Charlie during the months before and after the operation.
One of the people who knew Charlie very well was his teacher-Miss Kinnian. As an experienced teacher of mentally handicapped adults she learned a lot about the special case that Charlie is while she was teaching him. Because of that it would be instructive for other teachers, scientists or even the parents from mentally handicapped persons to know all details, experiences, teaching techniques, failures, among others.
That is the reason why I decided to write an advice column written by Miss Kinnian for the educational magazine ¨About Campus¨; the magazine central topics are advices for teachers and all kinds of learning and teaching techniques in children, adults and seniors.
The advice column is going to be about the views of an individual-Miss Kinnian. She is going to share her experience and at the same time she is going to be an example for other people who might be in a similar position as she was.
This advice column is going to help the reader to have a full understanding about the process that Miss Kinnian lived while she was teaching Charlie Gordon.

Rationale#2: ¨ Flowers for Algernon ¨
Upon finishing the book ¨ Flowers for Algernon ¨ I had a particular interest for the
Professor Harold Nemur. He is the person who is in charge of the experiment which increased Charlie’s intelligence.
Professor Harold Nemur is an interesting person; he is pretty much obsessed for Charlie´s experiment and for the awards that he might win if the operation on Charlie worked as it was expected to work, for that reason he becomes arrogant.
