Dear sir/madam, OR Dear Mr. /Mrs.
I am writing to protest about Building factories in front of houses which is a problem for many people and makes them suffer. So many people and I against it.
Well, Building factories has a positive side for example it will offer more jobs opportunity for people living there. Also it will increase the economy in our country. Besides that, it will develop the national industry so we got our needs easily without effort or order it from another country.
On the other hand, building factories has a negative side such as it affects people’s health. So because of the smoke people will have problems with breathing. Also, they will have problems with hearing because of the machines noise. As well as, it will be danger for the children so they can’t play next to their houses. And I think it will destroy nature because of the pollution that factories cause.
Because the negative thing are more than the positive one I think this is a series problem so I suggest they build the factories somewhere far from people houses. Besides that, they make a survey to see how many people agree and how many disagrees.
I look forward to reading more letters about this issue in your newspaper. Notice:
Dear sir/ madam ---- Your faithfully

Factory pollution effects everyone and everything on this planet. Factories were the first form of pollution with the harsh chemicals that were used it destroyed much of the Ozone layer. Without the Ozone layer there will be nothing to stop the suns rays from heating the earth to outrageous temperatures(Wikipedia). According to McKibben, “not using the latest technology and so spewing: particulates into the air, or maybe sewage into water” (332). The gases and chemical used in these plants kill trees, makes the air unbreathable, and poisons our water supply. According to Hashemi and Farajpour “In countries that produce batteries their pollution cause loss of smell, rotting of teeth, and lung cancer”…

The 1920’s brought new inventions, a new economy, a new culture, new threats, and new laws which all influenced the nickname of the Roaring Twenties. The invention of the assembly line by Henry Ford in 1913 began the automobile industry in America leading to a boom in the industrial industries. The moving assembly line became a standard for most American factories allowing mass production of products including cars, appliances, furniture, and clothing. With the inventions of the electric motor, washing machine, vacuum cleaners, refrigerators, and ranges, woman’s housework decreased permitting an increase in leisure time allowing them to become involved in the feminist movement.…

Although having unhealthy food is quite valuable for many students, we should propose something that would benefit the school and the students. I recommend we start replacing unhealthy food like chips and soda pop with more nourishing food like yogurt or fruit juice. This would not only help having healthier food but also persuade students to eat healthy. Another way we can start the process of healthy food is through using the power of posters in which we can advertise about all the advantages of keeping a healthy yet effective food diet. If us grade nine students start eating healthier this would make us great role models for the younger students who would also want to eat food high in nutrients. By applying these methods the grade nine students will still be able to attend there adventure camp in spring every year and also exercise the benefits of eating much healthier.…

Creating manufacturing plants will not sustain development. It leads only leads to the suffering of the people, environment, and culture. Originally, the people living in these lands were able to make a comfortable living off of subsistence farming, but then foreign companies were welcomed into the land and the subsistence farmers were bought out and forced off their land. They are essentially forced into working for the companies locating themselves locally in order to procure food. This led to drastic increases in poverty. For example, as of 2014, in Guatemala, a third world banana land, over 65% of the population lives in poverty. These companies are also destroying the environment and the government is doing nothing about it. Over 2.2 trillion dollars worth of damage have been caused. Instead, if these government attempted to create a self-sustainable and local economy, the development process would be much more…

The major goal of this type of letter is to help the reader understand and accept the message. Also, maintaining a positive relationship with the reader could help the writer to promote a good image of the company. Although, the message sent is different in all these types of letters I found that they have both similarities and differences in terms of tone, approach, and organization.…
