With his eyes closed and his arm gripping Dumbledore as tightly as he could, Harry stepped into that felling of compression. Then, instantly, they were there, at the top of the astronomy tower. Harry helped Dumbledore over to the small steps. Dumbledore laid there, too weak to stand. “You’re hurt,” Harry said, “I will go get Madam Pomfrey. She will be able to help.” “No. Severus,” Dumbledore said clearly, “Bring me Severus…” Harry went to fulfill Dumbledore’s orders when there was a noise from below, as if someone was coming.
“Hide yourself below, Harry,” commanded Dumbledore, “Don’t speak or be seen by anyone without my permission. No matter what happens, it is imperative that you stay below!”
Harry paused, confused and frightened on what was going on. “Harry, do as I say,” said Dumbledore, “Trust me.”
Harry quickly hurried down below the observation floor of the astronomy tower. As he arrived below, he saw a familiar face going up another staircase to the top floor. It was Draco Malfoy. Harry didn’t know why he would be here, but he followed the orders given to him by Dumbledore and didn’t speak a word.
Draco arrived at the top of the tower with his wand pointed at Dumbledore. “Good evening Draco,” Dumbledore said very calmly, “What brings you here on this fine spring evening?” “The Dark Lord has sent me here to kill you.” “He is a fool, then, if he sends a child to defeat me!” Harry was observing this.
