For me, the genres range differently depending on my mood and varies often. Music is like a breath of fresh air, calming and refreshing. If you tune into your surroundings close enough, you can hear the melodies everywhere, even in a faint whisper. At the mere age of 2, I discovered my love of music through the colorful world of ballet, classical music is one of the most graceful pieces of art in my opinion. My favorite piece, interprets from Ludwig Van Beethoven's Bagatelle Symphony Number 25, Fur Elise. Conveniently, I lucked …show more content…
out to have been introduced to genres long before my time. Another one of my absolute favorite artists is Stevie Nicks from Fleetwood Mac, she uses so much soul into her performance, you can feel the emotions radiate, as if the song were written about your personal thoughts. Artists aim to capture the attention of the listener by pitching out messages in their lyrics, whether positive or negative.
Many artists have influenced my perception of music; In my opinion, If music had a taste it would be heavenly, hot and gooey, chocolate chip flapjacks on a bright and early Sunday morning, or the dimming sunset across the horizon of Daytona beach, where you hear the sounds of the busy Floridians with music playing in the bars down A1A.
The waves crashing up and down the shore and the seagulls gawking for a piece of bread. To me, music isn’t always in the form of a song. It can be disguised as a laughter of a loved one you’ve spent up all night laughing your head off with. My favorite is getting so lost in a song you have to replay it over to capture the feeling just once more, then about five more times after
that. Writing music has always been a passion for me, being able to spread your true heart-felt feelings out on a piece of paper and arranged into comprehension for someone else to observe but may or not be able to relate to. It's a way of telling your story through a melody rather than tears, although hardships are sometimes what creates the best ideas to set the mood and tone of your own story. Once you get your thoughts collected into a finished masterpiece you start to realize your own self worth. It's your story, you can change the beginning, middle, and ending anyway you would prefer, sometimes all you have to do it change the tune and you got a new muse. It's all about your perception and how you view things. My love of music is shared widely among my friends, it’s one of the aspects of our friendships. Sometimes it's just messing around on my piano or jamming out to rap in the car on a late Friday night. I know without a doubt my love of music will continue to flourish just as I do and for the new music to come and songs still unwritten.Once when I was a young girl, I was prophesied over with the gift of knowledge, That one day I would sing to my lord. Even now, I'm still learning as I go, but one thing I have confidence in is the important impact music truly has had on my life and others, I wouldn't be where I am today without my music. It makes me stronger as a person and my beliefs, it gives me wisdom to think about right from wrong; even in a small example such as music. It gives me patience when my pandora isn’t loading, and it gives me love to share and feel just between simple sentences; but most of all it gives me happiness, something very important yet not stressed enough these days. So much is happening in the world and more to come, music is one thing we all have in common. Music intentionally makes you fall in love, and it won’t ever break your heart.
