Friendship
Social interaction is a huge part of human nature, and friendship is one of the most important parts of it. Having friends isn’t just having someone to talk to in public, but it’s much more than that. With friends it’s all about the little things, close talks, inside jokes etc. Being a good friend is about having trust in your friend and being trustworthy, in all friendships people are bound to say bad things behind the others back, but being able to overcome that is what makes a good friendship. Another thing to being a good friend is the small things in that friendship, and what I mean by small things are maybe inside jokes that only you and the person know about ( BrO FlINCH, Six, Paradise, Juat, Dr.Phil), or maybe just doing something nice like picking them up a coffee before school. Doing small nice things make friendships stronger. Being a good friend is about caring about your friends feelings, enjoying their company and liking to be there for them. Even though it’s contradicting writing the unwritten rules of friendship, I suppose I’ll list some anyways. You should never intentionally do something to hurt your friend, because if you do what kind of friend are you? You should always do something for them on their birthday whether it costs money or not. If they need help with something, try and be there for them. And to me the most important rule of friendship is listening to your friends problems and trying to help them with them, but with great power comes great responsibility you should keep the secrets they share with you to

In the 1970, gays from all over came to live in San Francisco which was thought of as a paradise. Carl Wittman shatters this perception in his first sentence from Refugees from Amerika: A Gay Manifesto, by saying that "San Francisco was a refugee camp for homosexuals", completely flipping previous perceptions. Wittman utilizes the TSIS strategy of "they say, I say" in his essay to illuminate his point that being gay in Amerika is not how it seems. Wittman, in the very first page of his article, states that he is educating the heterosexual population by redefining terms such as homosexuals, thus the heterosexual population as the "they say". Wittman enters the conversation or "puts in their oar" by stating that the whole conversation is not…

Friendship is a very powerful word. As children are growing up, their parents and family give them a taste of what friendship really is all about. Starting at a young age, it is smart for parents to teach children the significance of friendship. A friend should be someone who tells the other individual when they are doing wrong. They should influence them to do good, give them a shoulder to cry on, and be that person to talk to when sad. Friendships change over time as you move from childhood to adulthood, however, friendship exists in the positive relationships a person builds.…

To establish a friendship relationship one should be able to believe in each other. An example of this is believing in each other is when a friend borrows money and they say they will return it the next day. They are giving their word. If they just keep the money and never return it to back then they are considered to be a dishonest person and the friendship can fall apart. Instead they should be honest and tell the truth of why they couldn’t return the money and maybe the friendship could be restored.…

The first realization I came to was that friends are more than people I may occasionally see in passing, or at social events. Although these people may be friendly and fun to be around, I consider them acquaintances, not friends. Unlike an acquaintance, a friend is someone with whom I genuinely enjoy being around and can call upon other than just when a favor is needed. Real friends know one another’s birthday, favorite color, pets’ names, parents’ names, etc. True friends will do whatever is necessary to ensure they are involved in each other’s lives.…

To be a good friend, an individual has to spend time working on her friendships, or they will eventually fade. When two people first meet, they both need to be sure they are acting in good manor, so they don’t scare the other away. After they meet and start talking a few times, they will start getting to know each other, calling each other, and spending more time with each other. That is how a friendship begins. After they call each other “friends”, the friendship has to be made through the effort of more than just one person, so each has to do her own part. Friendships shouldn’t take a lot of money but they do take a lot of time and care. Friends should always listen to what the other has to say, and then should give advice only when asked for it. No matter how much friends are alike, everyone has differences, so a friend should be able to accept their differences. After being a friend to a person for a long period of time, one might get tired of hearing repeated…
