What is the main difference between a tall and flat organisation AND in which type is there more freedom for decision making? Tall organisation has multiple layers of authority between CEO and low-level employees. For example, lower employees have to report to high employees and then to CEO which is in process and it take long. Whereas Flat organisation has only one top manager which is the CEO of the company, overseeing a handful of employees, all with equal levels of authority.
