Command Post Procedure. This phase of the course is designed to arm students with the necessary knowledge and practical skills they require to operate within a Command Post.
MLRS organisation and deployment. The students are trained in the theory of MLRS deployment and the organisations from 1 Arty Bde down to troop level. This includes the roles of key personalities in the chain of command.
Antennae’s and Supports. Instruction on the theory of antennae’s and the deployment of them forms and integral part of the course. It allows for the students to return to their Battery’s and perform key tasks within
the Command Post.
PEN PICTURE
Gnr Lee embarked on this course with a highly confident attitude which matched his technical ability. His work, both practical and theory, was always above the required standards and he had consistently high scores in all tests and homeworks.
As the course progressed Gnr Lee demonstrated a good ability to retain information and used this to assist his peers both in and out of working hours.
During the summative assessments he performed confidently and with application in his role he will prove to be an asset to any Command Post.
Due to his consistently good performance, motivation and technical ability, Gnr Lee achieved a very good pass. He has been graded as the top student on the course and should be commended for his hard work and determination.
