Program Latihan Khidmat Negara (PLKN) it is intended for the construction of personal development aimed at building and strengthening the spirit of patriotism among the younger generation, foster national unity and integration and form positive character values through. The main objective of PLKN is 1. Increase patriotism among the young generation 2. Build up national unity and integration 3. Develop positive character through the moral values 4. Build strong spirit of volunteerism 5. Younger generation who are more physically fit, intelligent and full of self-confidence.
Program PLKN is very success because the person who will be selected to join this program willing to Participate. After they join for this program,they get advantages more than harm. They will become more confidence , know how to communicate with different cultural with them and understand Solidarity is important to let our Malaysia achieve vision 2020. During PLKN program the student will learn some knowledge that is can’t found in test book.

The essence of this idea regardless of the idea of a multi-ethnic nation, sub-ethnic and cultural. All parties must be together to make it happen. Implementation is not done overnight but in evolution. It is an ingredient and formula in the state administration towards Vision 2020.
