Gino's Pizzeria Observation Report
For the third observation I decided on going to Gino’s pizzeria in kings park, even though it’s pretty close to my house around 8 minutes away. I haven't gone in because even though i love pizza i would rather go to Short Stop another local pizzeria which is on the next shopping plaza over. even before i entered Ginos pizzeria i could smell fresh pizza being baked with strong hints of garlic and oregano. when i did go inside I notice that it was pretty busy with 4 people in front of me on line and a around 8 people sitting down eating, in the front There was also chicken parm, garlic knots and pasta on top of there being pizza’s like Sicilian and grandma styled pizza. But also the place was a lot more new so it looked better than the older short stop pizzeria, the counter tops were all aluminum and aluminum ovens, the seats cushions looked handle worn and had a dark wooden legs and frames, compared to the worn seats in short stop which many of the seats cushions were cracking and had a few scratches on them. …show more content…
and so I asked him why he chose this place over short stop and he replied “short stop pizza is over priced and overrated’ which to me was blasphemy. I grew up on short stop pizza I to me it was one of the best pizzas i had ever had. But when it was my turn to order i order two slices and a soda for 4 dollars, and ill say it it was very good. the pizza’s sauce had a kick to it. it was much more heavy on the spices and garlic the short stop and i think it was a nice change of pace and the crust was crispy while the inside was fluffy and hot, to me it was a perfect

In this assignment I will be discussing the consideration of Domino’s Pizza entering the market place in the Washington DC’s Georgetown community. I selected this area because it is highly populated with tourists that may want to grab a quick bite to eat while shopping and touring the area and the local upper class working singles that often don’t have time to cook after a long day at work. I have conducted research and gathered information forecasting the demand for this business based on population, household income and other pizza establishments in this area along with the average cost for pizza. Based on the research and demand analysis we should be able to determine if it would be in the best interest of the Domino’s Pizza Company to establish an operation in this community.…

Since opening in a suburb of a major metropolitan area two years ago, Pablo’s Pepper Pizza has consistently had a huge line of customers waiting for a table. Pablo, the owner, attributes this to his strong belief that customers are entitled to high quality food at inexpensive prices. His brand promise is to consistently create a fun, family-oriented environment centered around great food that won’t break the budget. This idea is demonstrated at many different touchpoints with customers. Parents can enjoy the $5.00 all-you-can-eat pizza and salad buffet while watching the game on the television screen. Kids receive a complimentary activity book along with a packet of crayons and unlimited trips to the dessert bar stocked with fruit, pizza, and cookies. From time to time, Pablo even personally invites the children to watch the pizzas being made through a glass window. The employees seem to enjoy this as much as the children do, especially when the children smile as the pizza dough is tossed high into the air. It’s a good thing, too – a friendly attitude is stressed at weekly staff meetings. During this time, Pablo also reminds the cooks to keep a fresh supply of a variety of pizzas on the buffet line, and he instructs the bussers to quickly clear dirty plates from the tables. All this must be working because the place is still packer!…

The lack of excessive amounts of waiting time makes Sugar’s pizza the best. At many restaurants, it can take up to thirty minutes to receive an order. I have never waited over ten minutes to receive my food at this establishment. A customer walks in, orders from a small counter, and then seats himself. Usually within five minutes, his pizza is brought to the table.…

“Hi, welcome to CiCi’s!” This is the warm greeting that every CiCi’s employee will welcome every customer with when they walk through the door. This warm welcome is just one of the many things that CiCi’s does to exceed the customer service expectations that come with a buffet style restaurant. With competition lurking, and the economy pinching, great customer service has become a premium. This is why CiCi’s focuses so much on the customer’s wants and needs. The mission statement is as follows: Do “Whatever it Takes” to exceed each guest’s expectations.…

First, the atmosphere I see when I arrive, provides a serene message to make me feel like I’m in Italy. The tables are long rectangles or small and quaint, while the seating provides a atmosphere of warmth and comfort. In fact, it’s always well maintained and clean. As I walk in, the immediate smell of delicious food in the air makes my mouth water. The playing of low themed music, helps me relax while seated. The several ceiling fans provide comfort and keeps a cool breeze inside Olive Garden. The bathrooms smell like I entered a Yankee Candle store. The smell of strawberry conceals the normal odors in a bathroom and the many stalls almost guarantee no line.…

    Romano's takeout

Romano’s Take-Out in Flint, Michigan is located in the area where many industrial plants are present. This gives the store an opportunity to cater the needs of the people working in the sites in terms of food services. These plant sites mostly have two to three shifts, five days a week in which during each shift, workers have a one half- hour break. This break usually occurs at 11 am, 8 pm, and 2:30 am, depending on the shift. Because of this number of break in shifts, the workers might opt to eat and order for pizza as food. Moreover, the plant businesses present in the area are very profitable for the RT business. The advantages of this are; large quantity of orders can be delivered at the same time and place that would minimize the transportation cost of RT store, and also in these orders different toppings (such as double, cheese, pepperoni, mushrooms, and hamburger) could be added. The additional orders of toppings in each pizza could result to additional revenue of $11 to $14. As for the benefit of the driver who will deliver the pizzas, additional tip could be incurred ranging from $1 to $2.…

As stated Pizza Hut’s brand image is neither fast food nor full-service. It delivers average quality products for average prices. Previously, it was marketed as a “more for the same” value proposition (Kotler & Armstrong, 2012).Yet, it has done something that shocked the whole market. It has cut the prices up to 50%. Doing that, Pizza Hut is fully reforming its brand image. They are implementing a “Same for less positioning” (Kotler & Armstrong, 2012). In a commercial, an actress playing a restaurant employee says, “We’ve changed just about everything, except how your favorite pizza tastes” (ELLIOTT, 2010). This move is due to a weakened economy and a drop of customers. But initiating a price change is not riskless. Customer may think that the quality has been reduced and Pizza Hut could lose its loyal customers.…
