Introduction:
"Without the Internet I cannot live" it is an answer that CNN news reporter (2009) interviews a young people. So, we can image that internet how important in recent times. But with development of the Internet more and more problem and issues appear. For example, Cybercrime, Privacy, Network security, intellectual property rights and freedom of expression. Therefore, internet needs reasonable governance.
What is internet governance? "The development and application by governments, the private sector and civil society, in their respective roles, of shared principles, norms, rules, decision-making procedures, and programmes that shape the evolution and use of the Internet."(UN Working Group on Internet Governance, 2005) Meanwhile, Internet governance is a 'network of networks', involving many types of actor and a high degree of interdependency between them. The interconnected networks use Internet Protocol which allows them to function as a single large virtual network. This essay will mean looking at the relationship between global governance issues and Internet, and discuss how will these global governance issue is being handled in an international level.
Actors:
There are many organizations and unions are related to Internet, and everyone play different role in the global. For example, Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), International Telecommunications (ITU), Internet Society (ISOC) and The Internet Governance Forum (IGF).
