The rhythmic and melodic characteristics of bossa nova were introduced by the composer Johnny Alf in 1953, with his song Rapaz de Bem. Privatization of Marina da Glória: Currently, under the responsibility of Riotur, the Rio de Janeiro Tourism Company, the Marina is located south of Enseada da Glória less than 100 meters from the seafront and 1,320 meters away from Santos Dumont Airport. It can shelter 534 watercraft. It offers ground facilities such as guard services, maintenance, shopping, nautical safety, parking, restaurant, among others.
