God's Word: Christian Trials Of Life

The pages of God’s Word highlight biblical characters, including Jesus, who experienced immense trials in their lives. Following the Lord does not exempt a believer from the trials of life. Jesus clearly declared, “In this world you will have tribulations, but take courage, I have overcome the world” (John 16:33 NIV). Christians will indubitably experience the same trials as non-Christians, but Christians should demonstrate a different reaction.
All believers, including members at Baptist Center Church (BCC), will inevitably experience numerous and diverse trials throughout life. Although trials form part of the human experience, God expends trials to effectuate endurance in the life of the Christian (Jas 1:2–4).
