Going To A 4-Year College

I would like to go to a 4-year college in the mainland. The reason that I would like to go to a 4-year college is so that I could be the first one in my family to graduate high school and also graduate college. Another reason for me wanting to pursue going to a 4-year college is my siblings, I want to be a good example for them in life because I am the oldest and they look up to me. Going to a 4-year college will not only affect my life in a positive way but it will affect my families as well. Being the oldest and being the first one out of your family to graduate high school and also graduate college will prove to me and my family that anything is possible if you just put your mind to
it. Also, knowing that I will be a good example for my siblings and making my family proud is a good enough reason for me to pursue this dream. Within those 4 years of college I would like to study business management/marketing. I would like to study this because in the 10th grade I had a business class and we tried to market things that didn’t have an importance to why it would be important in life and that was difficult but because we had to do this I got inspired and knew that this is something I wanted to do as a job and something I love to do. I chose business management/marketing because to me it’s something fun and trying to pursue people to buy products or even to get people to go a certain place is hard but it is also something fun because you have to think about all the possibilities why someone wouldn’t want to go to that place or even why someone wouldn’t want to buy that certain product. Marketing is just something I fell in love with doing without hesitation. I am also really interested in selling things, it is something I always loved to do, I am also a very good salesman. Marketing, I learned will also help me later on in life it isn’t something that will only do good in the present especially if i’m looking into going into business managing.
My career goal is to manage my own company and advertise my own business. I would like to do this because if i’m going to be studying and working hard to understand marketing and business management I would like to work for myself instead of working for someone else. I also know I would be able to do this because my grandmother owns three businesses of her own, I took that as inspiration, again that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. Owning my own business will be difficult but it will bring me a brighter future. Going to a 4-year college will help me pursue this career goal and will bring me a brighter future.
