It is important to notice the ambience of Romero's art work. Although he shows heavy traffic with cars he doesn't potray a negative vibe of it. He chooses bright and vivid color ways to show some positivity in the art work overall. I believe Romero feels in peace and harmony as a community, that is why he painted this significant mural. In June 1, 2007, a Caltrans work crew painted over his 102-foot-long, 20-foot-high mural, "Going to the Olympics," erasing it from a wall at Alameda Street. His reasoning in his lawsuit was that without Romero having been given the advance notice required under a 1980 state law protecting artists' "moral rights" they have violated his rights. The notice provides 90 days for the artist to save or relocate works of public art before it can be removed. This mural was significant as it was something to remember for the 1984 olympics and the people that had seen it as tourists or the people of the city had already made that connection to the mural and for it to be taken down was kind of a bad surprise for the city of Los
