This season, the Warriors carried a winning streak to start the season. The winning streak came to an abrupt ending on December 12, 2015. The Milwaukee Bucks ended one of the most remarkable winning streaks in NBA history. Golden State started the season off 24-0 prior to the loss. As of now, they are still in great shape to compete with the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls 72-10 regular season record.

The game is played so differently and many could argue that some of the best players in today's game wouldn't last in the past eras. The game today is so much easier for offensive players. Imagine a Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen in today's game where fouls are called if you look at someone wrong. A bit of exaggeration there, but you get my point. Not to mention Dennis Rodman would own the boards.
Don't get me wrong, this Warriors team is ridiculous. Curry is ridiculous. Draymond Green is a beast. Klay Thompson is a very skilled shooter. And, we take nothing from their rather historic start. But, the 96' Bulls would beat this Warriors team in a seven-game series. Most would say approximately six games.
What we tend to do in today's society is live in the moment and believe in the hype that ESPN, Fox Sports, or whoever puts in front of us. We also tend to forget that it is their job to do so. What we are witnessing though is a once in a lifetime phenomena. It is exhilarating, and refreshing to see such dominance in any sport.
There is still plenty of season left, but as of right now, according to the ESPN Basketball Power Index, Golden State has a 60.9 percent chance of winning 70 games, a 47.2 percent chance of winning 71 and a 33.3 percent chance of winning 72. They also have a 20.8 percent chance of winning 73 games and an 11.5 percent chance of winning
