Age
The table shows that the majority of the respondents were 20 to 22 years of age and are the youngest age group. While age of 26 to 28 are having the lowest percentage. In this relation, as we notice applicants nowadays can either male or female and should be on aged what is required by the employer. He or she may be a board passer or not. Thus, freshly graduates are being hired even if they still don’t have enough knowledge and experience as to the actual setting. This implies that younger adults dominate the job in their time due to the fact that older ones who are highly skilled move out of the country thus, it gives the chance of young ones an opportunity to inherit the left job
Gender As the gathered data presented in the table 1, out of 251 respondents, most were female. This is because nursing and midwifery are traditionally for females. Nursing is a suitable job for women because it was an extension of their domestic roles. Nightingale’s image of nurse as a subordinate, nurturing, domestic, humble, self-sacrificing as well as not too educated became prevalent society.
