Greek mythology does not just tell the stories of gods and goddesses but also mythical creatures with super-human or god given powers like for example, Perseus of the Greeks that was known because of his successful adventurous journey.
The heroes tend to be adventurers and fighters who are bold, experienced, fierce, strong, and often clever which were far above other ordinary humanity. Their stories served as mythological reflections of human potential and human failure as well.
Greek myths were interlinked with every aspect of life whether in religious matter or social values. The existence of gods made them become religious and they showed it through paying honour to the gods as a symbol to thank them for blessings received and to receive blessings in return. Besides that, the positive traits of the mythical creatures can be learned by the Greeks as it will make the society better with great values in them. Clearly these two important matters are connected to each other and cannot be separated in Greek
society.
