Most students are drawn from families where parents live in conflict with each other and even divorces, preventing a child from enjoying parental love from both the father and the mother. Likewise, I believe that some students are mistreated at homes, a factor that perpetuates absenteeism, and substantially hinders proper performance in school work. According to Grobman (2005), family stability is a critical issue that influences how students carry on with their day to day routines in school.
