Blaming guns, and those who support gun ownership, is a way to transfer the blame. Our schools, such an integral part of community, have seen a staggering onslaught of violence. Ever since Columbine, would-be criminals understand that schools are an easy target for launching an attack. Gene Hoffman, the chairman of the Calguns Foundation, argues that gun control is not the answer to providing safety in schools and preventing school massacres.
