The first apparatus I will be talking about is vault. I will be talking about artistic gymnastics first. Artistic gymnastics is probably the most common type of gymnastics. As you already know artistic gymnastics as four apparatus. Vault, Uneven Bars, Floor and Balance Beam. The gymnast perform a short timed routine ranging approximately 30 to 90 seconds on different apparatus, with less time for vaulting. The next type of gymnastics I will be talking about is a Rhythmic gymnastics. Rhythmic gymnastics is also an Olympic sport. There have been only about 30 Olympic games for rhythmic gymnastics. Rhythmic gymnastics have 5 apparatus. Rope, Hoop, Ball, Cubs, Ribbon, and freehand(no apparatus). Rhythmic gymnastics is a sport that combines elements of ballet, gymnastics, dance, and apparatus manipulation. The third and final type of gymnastics I will be talking about is Acrobatic gymnastics. Acrobatic gymnasts perform in pairs or groups. There are three types of routines, a balance routine where the focus is on strength and flexibility; a dynamic routine which includes throws , somersaults and catches, and at(FIG level 6 and above) a combined routine which includes elements from both balance an
