Healthcare Internship Goals

In 10-15 years from now, I intend to have established myself as a chief executive officer in a medical center. Within those ten to fifteen years I intend to begin to improve the way healthcare is delivered, financed, and publicly seen. To accomplish these goals I will have to fulfill certain educational and work experience requirements. I will be required to obtain a master's and bachelor's degree in healthcare or business management to be eligible for a senior level position in management. In addition, I will have to obtain critical workers experience through gaining employment and internships in healthcare organizations.

Within approximately one to two years I want to have amassed a significant amount of experience in working in the healthcare field through numerous health care internships. The eligibility for each internship varies, generally, I will have to maintain a competitive grade point average with certain academic courses completed to obtain certain internships. To accomplish such I will obtain a bachelor in business administration with a preferred concentration in healthcare since healthcare managers must at least have a bachelor degree to be eligible for entry and mid-level management jobs. I can accomplish achieving this degree by attending a four year accredited university and pursuing a general management major within 4 to 5 years. During these four years of study, I will also be developing my experience through various business and healthcare related internships. It is essential that I build a causal contacting network to establish helpful contacts with healthcare professionals. Within a few years, I can accomplish building up my professional network and experience through a hospital, research lab, and nursing home jobs or
