First of all the author, by looking at the Heart's Delight's 60's product catalog and comparing that with current catalog generalizes the lifestyle and food consumption pattern of the general public. This comparison is not very well justified with the evidences presented. The author fails to put forward any examples of whether Heart's Delight is a representative of the stores in the area with respect to its products and its customers. What if Heart's Delight is a store used only by a very limited number of customers? The author makes an unsupported assumption that because of higher sales of red meat and fatty food, the people of the area are indeed buying and consuming those.
