Hemodialysis Research Paper

Hemodialysis is as its name suggests. As opposed to filtering the fluid in the peritoneal cavity, Hemodialysis filters the blood. This is usually accomplished by inserting a “T” in-between an artery and its corresponding vein in the arm. The blood then leaves the artery and is filtered through a machine which dissociates the pathogens from the blood leaving healthy blood cells to flow back into the body.
