The Meaning of a True Hero A true hero can be anyone. Heroes are not limited to being tall and strong, as portrayed in many modern films. Instead, a true hero can be a frail woman, a sickly child, or even a disabled man. This is because a true hero is one who goes to the extremes and perform above and beyond expectations, often at the risk of his or her safety, to help those in need.
