High school vs college
High school vs College In high school, you usually cannot wait to enter college. More than likely because everyone thinks about how you actually get to take the classes you choose and the freedom that you are granted becoming a young adult on your own. High school and college are very dissimilar. Almost everyone goes through a transition between two very diverse and different worlds. During my four years of high school, I always wondered what college would be like. August 18, 2014, is the exact day I found out about college.
In high school, my education was free. Whereas in college there are fees for everything. The fees include Lab fees, laundry, food, tuition, and etc. In high school, you barely have to pay for anything until it was a trip or a certain type of event. College will break your pockets without scholarships.
In college, you are being taught specific subjects that goes along with the certain career path. College students are older and have more work on their hands. In high school, basic subjects are taught just for a diploma. High school is the first step to learning to a higher level. High school is intended to equip you for college and the real world. The responsibilities in high school are not as complicated as college students. The homework almost always stays at a minimum and the due dates are not as nerve-racking.
I’m assuming everyone’s view point on college relates to college is hard. Of course college may be classified as hard because it is a higher level of learning. College requires more time, effort as well as dedication to your major. College seems to be what you make it.
Teachers in college do not really care if you attend class or not. There are some concerned teachers but for the most part there are not many. Missing to many classes at some colleges will cause you letter grade to drop or you will have to drop that class so it would have no effect on you GPA. In high school teachers are always on your back about why you missed

High school classes might have seemed better in the past compared to college. You might feel more comfortable in smaller classes than you would heading off to university, but that is simply from the comfort of your surroundings.
