Whether or not people are born homosexual (or choose to be), has been an ongoing debate for
a while now and continues to stay relevant, especially since there have been multiple studies,
lots with opposite finds and views. I personally do not believe that people choose to be gay,
but rather have a trait that they are born with.
Homosexuality is when someone is romantically attracted to their same gender and
until a few years ago, sexual orientation was called a sexual preference. Obviously, the two

If other life-forms contain a
programed sexual orientation, it makes you wonder since humans are essentially animals as
well. Scientists have discovered brains of gay and straight people also appear to be organised
differently. For example, brain patterns appear similar between gay men and straight women
and between lesbian women and straight men. Gay men appear, on average, more
“female typical” in brain pattern responses and lesbian women’s brains are somewhat more
“male typical”.
Lots of people aren’t educated enough of the topic of sexuality and media is a giant
influence on that. Media is somewhat blunt or ham-fisted in its portrayal of even heterosexual
(straight) relationships, so it was a long shot that they’d show homosexuals accurately. We
need to realize that no one “chooses” to be gay, or heterosexual, or any other sexuality. It’s a
natural trait and it’s nothing to be ashamed of. Not everything that the media expresses is
true. Before you go telling people how their sexuality works, you need to research, not just
reply on what some reality TV show host says.
Being homosexual, pan-sexual, bi-sexual, a-sexual and every other sexuality is
