How Can I Live in Thanksgiving Daily and Confess God’s Hand in All Things Living in daily thanksgiving and confessing God’s hand in all things are two things that we can do that go together well. If we are acknowledging that everything we have in our daily lives it shows that we are living in thanksgiving. In order to confess god’s hand in all things we first need to see how he affects all the things that we do. For us as BYU students it is particularly easy and important that we do see his hand and acknowledge the blessings that he has given us. This is one of the greatest universities in the world for several different majors. The value of the education that we are able to receive is far greater that the price we are asked to pay. The reason that many of us, including me, are able to afford an education this good is because of the generous amount of money that is paid to the school through the church. Without the church’s subsidies tuition would be nearly four times as much as it is and many students would be unable to attend. This helps me realize how important it is to the lord that we gain knowledge in this life and how willing he is to assist us in the tasks he asks us to accomplish. Once we have realized his hand in our lives we can show our thanks by praying and simply saying that we are thankful for his hand in our lives. This not only tells God that we are aware of his help it also helps us to think of even more ways that the lord has helped our lives. While this is a great way to state how thankful we are, to really show how thankful we are we can share the blessings we have received with everyone that we can. We then gain greater blessings and we have the opportunity to be a blessing in someone else’s life.
