This was a direct result of the hard working attitude the greater part of the children had. We would wake up at early in the morning to work out and I didn’t like it, yet I improved. We would work out until the point that school began, and afterward after school we would prepare for a good practice. All that diligent work drove us to a game against Heidelberg High School. They weren't any better to anything we were and we knew we could beat them in the event that we played hard. I was the beginning pitcher of the game and I was ready to win. I was extremely energetic and I attempted to spread my energy to every one of my teammates and I think it truly worked. I began off the game pitching very bad. Heidelberg High School was continually getting hits and scoring runs, however fortunately our team was doing good when we got at the plate. The score changed each inning. I continued inspiring every one of the players and I continued saying, "We are not going to lose this game." I think they heard me exceptionally well in light of the fact that our bats were really hitting. We went ahead to score three runs that inning and we led the game. Unfortunately for us, they got an opportunity to bat. I was still in the game and I had tossed around one hundred and thirty pitches which is a considerable measure for a pitcher. Generally coaches take out their pitchers when they hit the one hundred pitch check. I was prepared to leave the hole and onto the field when Coach Clark snatched me and stated, "I'm sorry yet I need to remove you from the game. You have pitched a great number of pitches and I don't need you to get hurt." I took a look at him with passion and stated, "This game is there for me to complete regardless. If I give up one hit or one ball, you can remove me from the game. I won't let you down!" He took a look at my teammates for approval and they knew I needed this with my entire existence so they gave me the "alright" to pitch and coach let me backpedal on the field. By then, I couldn't feel my shoulder however he didn't realize that. When I got onto the hill, my body got an adrenaline rush and that blended with outrage.
