How Did Japanese Attack On Pearl Harbor

The attack on Pearl Harbor was carried out in an effort to give Japan a chance to win the war, the attack was led by a pilot named Mitsuo Fuchida, and the aftermath was devastating, but manageable. The attack on pearl harbor was Japan’s only chance to gain a leg up in a war against the U.S.. Yamamoto Isoroku was a Japanese Admiral during the second world war who had proved himself in war planning as well as actual battle. When war with the U.S. was considered imminent he advised the Prime Minister at the time Tojo Hideki. That the only way that the Japanese could win a war with Americans was if they could cripple their navy early in the war. After getting approval from the Prime Minister and the Emperor he devised the planning and logistics for the attack and later participated in it himself. After some contemplation he knew that the only man who could lead such an attack was Mitsuo Fuchida.
Mitsuo Fuchida was the most skilled pilot in the Japanese Air Force. He was so good he got a recommendation from a superior that he be put through the Japanese Naval College. While stationed on an aircraft carrier called Akagi he befriended the Commander in Chief of the Japanese Combined Fleet. Soon the Commander in Chief decided to make him main pilot, due to Fuchida’s prowess in flying and leadership, for an upcoming attack. Months later after rigorous training in low altitude combat Mitsuo Fuchida and a fleet of 408 aircrafts flew to Pearl Harbor.
