One important thing that happened during World War 2 was the battle at Pearl Harbor on December 7 1941. In the article of “Yamamoto, Isoroku,” it says why this event was so important. It is important because the Japanese had carefully planned this attack. The Japanese had declared war on this day and one of the people to help with this attack was named Yamamoto Isoroku. He had come up with many plans to attack Pearl Harbor.In the article it says “But he sponsored the plans for the Pearl Harbor attack as Japan's only chance of victory in the war in the Pacific.” Why this is important imformation is because Yamamoto was one of the guys who had planned this attack on Pearl Harbor and had ended many lives that day.
