MLK Essay Dr.Martin Luther, Jr’s life has greatly influenced modern society by racial equality, freedom, and nonviolence. Dr. King thought that everyone should be treated equally no matter what skin color or race. He depended on powerful words, showing that violence is not the answer. His famous “I Have a Dream” Speech left a mark in history and revolution in society today. Ever since after Dr king sadly died, every race is now obeying the same rules and laws and no single race is discounted for anything. Nobody wants to be controlled and told what to do. It feels like you're in chains behind bars. Dr. King felt like this and also knew others felt like this. He fought for freedom without violence. Dr. King gave his people freedom from racism. Now today there are people allowed to talk against what's right and not right. Now today anyone who is older than 18 can vote no matter what race or gender. Dr King. did all this by not using violence. Dr king. used powerful words and protested. This inspired others to follow him and do the same. For example, March on Washington Movement 1941-1947. They protested without harming anyone. People such as the police fought the civilians who participated in the movement. But the civilians didn't give up. Martin Luther King, Jr. inspired people around him in other countries at his time and still inspires people today. In conclusion. Dr Martin Luther King, Jr. changed the world for a better future. He did what felt right and what he had to do and his influence made people want to do the same.
