Juliet and the way she does things from the beginning of the play towards the end change for the worse.
She used to listen to her elders and now she does what she wants. In the play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare. DESCRIBE WHAT WAS HAPPENING IN THE SCENE BEFORE. Juliet says” Don’t tell me that you’ve heard about this marriage, Friar, unless you can tell me how to prevent it. If you who are so wise can’t help, please be kind enough to call my solution wise.” (4.1) She is saying whatever Friar Lawrence says is wrong, she doesn’t want to marry Paris, the only way Friar can help her is to prevent her marriage to Paris so she can secretly marry Romeo which isn’t a very wise decision. Juliet doesn’t want to listen to what others think she should do if it isn’t what she wants to do. She thinks that because she is marrying Romeo and not Paris like she wants, she is grown up and can do whatever she
wants. Some people who have read or watched the play Romeo and Juliet might think Juliet changes for the better towards the end of the play. People think Juliet is making her own decisions at a young age and that shows bravery, but they are wrong, Juliet is only 13, she isn´t capable of making her own decisions without a little family comments. She thinks she is grown and in love with someone she hasn't known for more than a couple of hours. She is going to do whatever it takes to marry Romeo, even if it means faking her marriage to Paris and then forcing Friar Lawrence to marry her and Romeo. Juliet and some of her decisions after most of the play change for the worse, but some might think Juliet changes for the better. Juliet should still listen to her family because they will always want to make sure she is making the right decisions. No matter what happens, you should always be willing to listen to other people’s opinions. If they are older, chances are they might have gone through something like what you are going through and are just trying to make sure you don’t make a similar mistake. It's always a good idea to listen to other people's suggestions.
