The performance of an organizations is often dependent on it’s members, where the level of dedication and depth of the talent pool of the team plays a significant role. For instance, a basketball team performs better if it has skilled players in the various offensive and defensive spots, similarly a CEO is more likely to succeed and produce good results if he has good supporting staff in decision making capacities and execution. As a result the success of an organization varies (up and down) and is dependent on the success of recruiting talented new members from a deep pool of talent and upkeep of the existing talented team members that made the team so successful to begin with.
So, with this in mind, how does an organization recruit the best talents? Incentive and rewards varies for each talent; they could be financials, growth potential, and sentimental etc.. for example some recruit in sport value play time, ability to play in higher level of completion, more than getting more money. For some lifting a trophy is the ultimate reward!

The performance of influential players like John Terry, Branislav Ivanovic, Nemanja Matic, Eden Hazard, Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa was at career low. This level of performance can be attributed to uncharacteristic short pre-season preparation where they actually lost all three games, and to the lack of sharpness, tactical acumen, and concentration these players were famous for. The age of Terry and his lack of fitness; Fabregas lack of creativity just added to the decline of the team performance.
