If we come to think of it, success of an organization majorly depends upon employee’s skills, innovation et al. These employees with different skill set come together and work together, thus achieving a goal for the organization. Hence making it successful.
We all have heard or read about several team management approaches by well-known academic authors.
Some of them being, Dr.Merdith Belkin role model theory. According to him, A team is not a bunch of people with job titles but a group of people who have gathered, wherein each and every individuals role(basis the skill set) is understood by the other team members. These roles are chosen by the team members which come quite naturally to them, thus performing the task effectively.
Team building model proposed by Tuckman. According to him, a team or team members don’t start off with the assigned job or a goal without being fully formed or functioned. For this Tuckman has defined four stages for developing a team or a group for them to grow and face challenges together as a team.
These four stages are namely 1. Forming 2. Storming 3. Norming 4. Performing

I think in today’s man eats man world , team members need to learn as to how to help one another support other team members by cashing in on their strengths and creating such an environment where everybody is able to go beyond their strengths and delivers.
