How Does Lack Of Communication Lead To The Death Of Romeo And Juliet
The play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare is about two young lovers, their feeding families, and the tragedy that ensues in their lives. Romeos and juliet fall in love immediately at a party, this angered Juliets's cousin, Tybalt. Tybalt tries to duel with Romeo but instead fights Mercutio, leaving both dead and Romeo exiled. With out the family's knowledge Romeo and Juliet had been married with the help of Frair Lawrence and Nurse. Heartbroken, Juliet goes to Friar Lawrence for help and he gives her a option to fake her death so she could escape from Verona to be with Romdo. Although a lack of communication leada Romeo to believe Juliet is actually dead, so he kills himself. Then when Juliet awakens she seems Romeo dead and also kills …show more content…
Tybalt, juliets cousin, hated the Montagues and is known for being violent, aggressive, and quick to fight (55). Mercutio is Romeos close friend, Mercutio is witty and imaginative but he doesn't like Romeos romantizised ideas of love and how he acts(47). Tybalt challenges Romeo to a duel but Mercutio steps in, Tybalt kills Mercutio On accident and out of rage Romeo kills Tybalt. The Prince of Verona banishes Romeo for his actions, this major event would not of taken place without Tybalt and Mercutios hot headed, impulsive actions and it changed Romeos life. Nurse is very unique character because she could be vulgar at times and a bit inappropriate but she always did what she though was best for Juliet. Nurse was actually one of the few people who knew the extant of Romeo and Juliets relationship. In multiple occations Nurse would exchange information and help set up meetings for the couple(97). When Romeo was exiled Nuste suggested to Juliet that she should just move on for her first love was as good as dead to her (173). nurse was just trying to co fort Juliet in her time of grief but unknowingly she convinced Juliet to fake her death to escape Verona and be with her love

Insults were exchanged, but Romeo remembered that Tybalt is his new wife's cousin, so he turned the other cheek. Mercutio found this totally shocking, actually dishonorable, so he offered to fight Tybalt instead. They fought and then Romeo tried to intervene, but Tybalt suddenly stabbed Mercutio.
