How Old Was Gregor's Relationship With His Father
I strongly believe that a person has enough weight on their shoulders with their own life. Taking care of others only leads to more stress on that person, and not the others. As a family, the main purpose is to help each other but not to take advantage. Everyone should have a part or role they take on in the family. Gregor should change how everyone in the family rely on him. That only led him to become something he didn’t want to be. Gregor was always responsible. He was a traveling salesman, and still took responsibility for his family. He was always up on time which showed he was responsible and cared for his job. All the payments were on him and that didn’t even give him the opportunity to have a relationship with someone. For example, the picture he had of the woman that showed he didn’t have anyone special in his life. How could he anyway? All he did was work and think about the family payments. The stress they put on him didn’t allow him to live his own life how he wanted. …show more content…
As a family, they should have realized that shouldn’t even be his responsibility. Gregor’s family should have had a little bit of sympathy and gone looking for a job to help their son. Even if they didn’t believe they could handle a job because of health issues or other issues, they should have still gone with something simple. It would have helped in some small way. If Gregor hadn’t been responsible for everyone, the events of him changing would not have occurred. He would be able to work at I job he liked, and still have his own time.
