How to Keep Your Body in Good Shape
Keeping yourself in shape is important because it keeps you active, fresh, healthy, fit and beautiful. Unfit people are sometimes overweight, and being seriously overweight increases the risk of heart diseases and stroke, diabetes and even sometimes cancer. You should start with a general health and fitness check-up, which involves weight checking, blood pressure tests, sugar checking, heartbeat rates and cholesterol.

Firstly, you need to consider a balanced diet in every meal. Food gives the body energy, but the wrong food can cause major problems in your diet and make you weak as they lack nutritious elements. Healthy eating means eating more of organic substances such as brown rice, whole grains, fruit, vegetables, lean meats and so forth, and less of processed foods such as white flour, sugar and processed meats and also eliminating chemical foods such as fizzy drinks, crisps and many more.

Secondly, exercising helps in staying healthy and in good shape. Do activities that force the heart and lungs to work, like taking brisk walks, jogging, running, skipping, swimming, yoga and so forth. Try and exercise at least twice a day. These exercises are a sure way of staying physically and mentally fit as they reduce stress and weight and also promotes cardiovascular health. Weight carrying is also a nice exercise as it stimulates metabolism and promotes bone health.

Thirdly, try to get enough sleep as it is needed for our nervous system to work properly. Sleep deprivation makes a person drowsy and unable to concentrate the next day. It also leads to impairment of memory, physical performance and reduced ability to carry out mathematical calculations. If sleep deprivation continues, hallucinations and mood swings may develop. If you have trouble sleeping, try the relaxing bedtime rituals such as reading a book or magazine by a soft light, taking a warm bath, listening to soft music, deep breathing, and progressive muscle relaxation and visualizing a peaceful

The executive branch consists of six-state wide elected offices. Texas traditionally followed the plural executive system, which means that the general public votes six of the main executive branch officials in. The main advantage of this system is that every office holder is accountable for himself. They don’t have to answer to for each other or to each other but instead they are held responsible for their action, directly by the public. It puts the responsibly right on their shoulders. It also makes the voter more independent, as they cast separate vote for every office. Governor’s office, being the most talked about, is simply one of the six elected offices of executive branch. Second comes the lieutenant governor’s office. Lieutenant governor is considered the most powerful elected official in state of Texas. Other members of the executive branch are attorney general, the comptroller of public accounts, the commissioner of agriculture and the commissioner of general land office.…
