Introduction
Have you ever been to a Vietnamese restaurant? You will notice that every Vietnamese restaurant has eggrolls in its menu.
Eggroll is one of the most important dishes on the Vietnamese table. Egg rolls make a great snack, appetizer, or addition to a meal. Egg rolls are a great tasting way to get the daily requirement of several vitamins and nutrients, such as vitamin A, vitamin B, protein, and fiber.
Many people assume egg rolls are hard to make. If they only knew it is as easy as learning to operate a food processor. Today I will show you step-by-step instructions on how to make egg rolls. After this you can go home and make these fantastic eggroll to serve in your family dinner. They’re delicious when they're fresh and hot.
Let’s first talk about the collecting ingredients step. A trip to the grocery store will probably be needed for this recipe because many of the ingredients are not usually kept around the house.
Body
The following ingredients are required: one pound of lean ground beef, one large head of green cabbage, two pounds of fresh carrots, ginger, freshly ground black pepper and several packages of egg roll wraps. Once you make these egg rolls, make sure you get the correct egg roll wrappers. They should be frozen and very thin, almost paper thin and you can buy them at any western supermarket.
Items will also be needed: two large mixing bowls, large bottle of cooking oil, and a deep fryer. Once you have all the ingredients and items you can star to make the filling of eggrolls.
To make the filling, we need to combine the ingredients for the ground pork together. The meat needs to be marinated for at least ten minutes. In the meantime, shred the cabbage, gingers, and the carrots into small pieces. Next you need to heat a wok or large pan over high heat and add the cooking oil.
